Joey was born in Medellín, Colombia and spent most of his childhood in Quito, Ecuador – an upbringing that gave him a deep love for people, culture, and adventure. He earned his undergraduate degree in New York before completing his Master of Divinity in Chicago, then spent 20 years serving in church ministry across the US and internationally. That kind of background shapes how you show up for people, and it shows in every homeowner interaction.

What brought Joey to The Window Experts was simple – the chance to work alongside an incredible founder in Jeff Ludy, alongside family, and with a top-tier team that takes pride in every part of the business.

Outside of work, Joey is all about family – spending time with his wife Karen and son Jonas, whether that is a board game, a movie night, or a trip to the park. He also stays active on the pickleball court and never misses a Chelsea match!

One of the most meaningful chapters of his life was leading a recovery program – walking alongside people finding freedom from addiction and watching marriages and families be restored. That experience deepened his belief in what is possible when people are treated with honesty, care, and genuine investment – values he brings to every homeowner he serves.
